Warranty Information

5-Year Structural Guarantee

The SmartCableBoard (SCB-V2) aluminum spine, HDF grid plane, and steel mounting hardware are warrantied against manufacturing defects and structural failure under normal load (up to 45 lbs) for a period of 5 years from the date of delivery.

3-Year Electrical Guarantee

The integrated PDU and surge protection circuitry are warrantied for 3 years. Note that surge protectors utilize MOVs (Metal Oxide Varistors) which are sacrificial components designed to absorb massive voltage spikes. If the board sustains a severe surge event (e.g., direct lightning strike to building wiring) and sacrifices itself to save your equipment, the unit has performed as intended and is not covered for replacement under warranty.

Exclusions

The warranty is voided if the board is modified, overloaded beyond the stated weight capacity, mounted to incompatible desk materials resulting in tear-out, or used outside of standard indoor, climate-controlled environments.
