The SmartCableBoard requires a flat, unobstructed mounting area of at least 36" wide by 12" deep. If your desk has a central metal crossbar, you must measure the distance from that crossbar to the back edge of the desk. If it is greater than 12.5 inches, it will fit. Your desk top must also be at least 0.75" thick to safely accept the mounting screws. See our compatibility matrix.

It depends on the core material. Solid wood (Karlby) or high-density particleboard (Idasen) work perfectly. Do not attempt to mount this to hollow-core honeycomb paper desks (like Linmon or Lagkapten). The screws will rip out under load, destroying your desk and potentially your equipment.

Yes. The integrated PDU features hospital-grade MOVs providing 3150 Joules of surge protection across all three modes, plus EMI/RFI noise filtering. It is rated for 15A continuous load and includes a resettable thermal breaker.

Batch 04 preorders will close when capacity is reached, or on August 15th, 2024. Manufacturing runs for 4 weeks. We expect to begin fulfillment in late September 2024.

Currently, we only ship to the US and Canada. The integrated PDU is designed for 120V/60Hz standard North American power. An EU/UK 240V version is currently in engineering validation for 2025.
